Best out of Waste Campaign

On 2nd August 2020, Samyak Drishti Foundation, marked the inception of the Best out of Waste Campaign.

We were joined by our President - Drishti Jain who shared how we can make useful products up-cycling other used products.

Neglecting the environment has thrown us into a space whereby our everyday lives are threatened by

rising temperature and diseases. Therefore, the campaign focused on the best possible use of our

everyday wastages that we never paid heed to. Rucha - one of our volunteers, brought to light how you can make pen stands out of cardboard boxes, boards out of wedding invitations, toys out of tissue paper, laptop bags out of

your torn jeans, pencil boxes out of soda cans and many more.

The session also painted a picture how

the activities serve dual purpose of education and environment. Creative learning and scientific thinking

is sure to be freebies of such sessions. The fun filled session highlighted the need for us to look around

and get into action during our boring lockdown days.
